Why we started SmartTools
We kept seeing the same problem: Philippine small and medium businesses were stuck choosing between spreadsheets that couldn't keep up with BIR requirements, or enterprise systems priced and built for companies ten times their size. Nothing in between was actually built for how Philippine businesses work day to day.
So we built it ourselves — starting with the accounting, tax, and audit tools that Filipino accountants and business owners deal with every single day, and expanding from there.
